Rainer Hersch and His Orchestra

It’s fun and laughter all the way as Rainer Hersch returns to Newbury with his very own mini orchestra of madcap virtuosos for an evening of comedy and great music-making.

Trained pianist and conductor, stand-up comedian, writer and broadcaster Rainer Hersch has performed on every major comedy stage in Britain and abroad. Nothing is sacred or safe from the comic maestro as he whips through witty arrangements of such classics as the William Tell Overture in the style of Dallas, the Pizzicato Polka to juggling, and Beethoven’s 9th Symphony with audience suggestions.

Whether you’re a professor of harmony or couldn’t tell a string quartet from a string vest, this event is a guaranteed laugh every four bars.
