Quatuor Cambini Paris is coming from France especially to perform at St Mary’s Church, Shaw with a programme of classic favourites and a rarity played on period instruments. Applauded for rediscovering unjustly forgotten French compositions, tonight’s concert brings string quartets by Mozart and Beethoven, together with Gounod’s rarely heard A minor quartet.

These four young musicians demonstrate incredible passion: for period instruments; for researching beautiful, forgotten scores and playing them with great skill and care; and for the quartet form as the best way to express their musical harmony.
